The Sacramento Kings are at home on Sunday night as they host the Brooklyn Nets in an interconference matchup.

Sacramento enters Sunday’s game with an 18-53 record after losing at home to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night.

In Thursday’s loss to the 76ers, Maxime Raynaud led the way for the Kings as he recorded 30 points, four rebounds and two assists while Daeqwon Plowden added 20 points and two rebounds of his own.

Now Sacramento will try to bounce back at home on Sunday as they face off against a struggling Nets team.

On the other side, Brooklyn enters Sunday’s contest with a 17-53 record after losing at home to the New York Knicks on Friday night.

Josh Minott led the way for the Nets in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 22 points and five rebounds off the bench while Ziaire Williams recorded 17 points and four rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Nets Injury Report: Will Nic Claxton, Michael Porter Jr. Play?

For the Nets, they have six players listed on their injury report, including both Nic Claxton and Michael Porter Jr.

Brooklyn has ruled out Claxton due to rest as they will elect to sit him on the first night of their back-to-back, which will be his first missed game since March 14.

With Claxton sidelined, Minott and Chaney Johnson could both be in line for increased roles against the Kings.

The Nets have also ruled out Porter Jr. due to a left hamstring strain as he will miss his sixth straight game and he is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

Noah Clowney has also been ruled out due to a right wrist sprain while Egor Demin and Day’Ron Sharpe are both set to miss the remainder of the season.

Terance Mann has been listed as probable and is expected to play despite dealing with an illness.

Kings Injury Report: Will Russell Westbrook, Malik Monk Play?

On the other side, the Kings have seven players listed on their injury report, including guard Russell Westbrook.

Sacramento has ruled out Westbrook due to right foot soreness as he will miss his first game since March 15.

With Westbrook sidelined, Nique Clifford and Killian Hayes could both be in line for increased roles.

The Kings have also ruled out Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, De’Andre Hunter and Drew Eubanks as they are all set to miss the remainder of the season while Plowden is questionable due to right foot soreness.

The good news for the Kings is that Malik Monk is not listed on their injury report and will be available despite exiting Thursday’s loss due to a shoulder injury while Devin Carter is also off the injury report and will return from a five-game absence due to a calf contusion.
