Despite a strong start to the quarter, where they pushed the lead out to seven, the Adelaide 36ers now lead by just one after the Kings adjusted to limit their perimeter shooting. For Sydney, it’s been Davis and Torrey Craig doing the damage, combining for 29 points, with Craig producing 17 points, seven rebounds and a big block on Bryce Cotton.
John Jenkins is having his best outing since joining Adelaide with eight early points off the bench, while Cotton and Dejan Vasiljevic have combined for 23. The 36ers’ three-point shooting has carried them through the first half, but they’ll need to lift again after the break, with Brian Goorjian’s Kings expected to respond strongly in the third quarter.
After a dramatic week which has seen their owner fire back at reports of unrest, the Adelaide 36ers will look to let their play on the court do the talking as they face the Sydney Kings in Game 2 of the NBL Championship Series.

MATCH CENTRE: 36ers vs Kings score, stats
The 36ers were on the wrong end of a historic thumping in Game 1, and only making matters worse was an alleged argument between head coach Mike Wells and Dejan Vasiljevic.
The Kings, meanwhile, are settled and have been able to stay out of the spotlight as they look to build on that dominant first-up victory and take a 2-0 series lead with the chance to claim the title when Game 3 returns to Sydney.
