Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivers in ‘winning time’ for Thunder against Knicks
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30 points to lead the Thunder to a 111-100 victory over the Knicks. The win keeps OKC two games ahead in the loss column for the top spot in the Western Conference.
Oklahoma City Thunder fans will want to line up early at the Fuzzy’s Tacos location at 7401 N May Ave. this week for a chance to grab a photo with Thunder guard and champion Cason Wallace.
Friday, April 3, Wallace will appear at the location as part of his ongoing partnership with the restaurant brand. Wallace will appear from 6 to 7 p.m., but the event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m in the restaurant’s south parking lot and includes pop-ups from local vendors such as SPARK, Bob Moore Kia, Curbside Apparel, Le Gala, face painting, a caricature artist, bounce houses, giveaways, and more.
“This is exactly the kind of event that brings our community together,” said Tyler Gillespie, operating partner of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. “Our team is excited to create a high-energy atmosphere for fans and give people a chance to connect with Cason.”
In celebration of the partnership and the “Cason’s Queso,” menu item — a play on Wallace’s lifelong nickname, “Caso” and only available in Oklahoma — fans will be treated to a professional photo opportunity on a strict first-come, first-served basis, with the first 100 people in line will receiving a free commemorative t-shirt and cup.
However, a spot in line is not a guarantee of a photo, and the line will be cut off promptly at 7 p.m. The event will be limited to photos only, with no autographs permitted.
“Cason Wallace and the Thunder are central to OKC,” said Enxhi Hunt, Director of Marketing for The Social Order. “This dynamic partnership with Cason drives our brand forward and allows us to innovate how we interact with our guests through memorable, high-impact experiences.”
