Lana Condor: Lara Jean has grown, I think, quite a lot. Last time you saw her, she was going to college, so it’s been about four years.
[CLIP] Kitty Song Covey: What? H-how?
[CLIP] Lara Jean Song Covey: Hi, sister.

Lana Condor: It feels crazy to return to the role of Lara Jean after all these years. After the three movies, I kind of said goodbye to her in a very real way, and so it’s such a joy to be able to come back and see Anna and see Anna’s whole world, and it’s just such a dream to be able to work with her again.
[CLIP] Kitty Song Covey: This is a little dramatic, even for you.
Anna Cathcart: Getting to be in the movies as a kid, I was in Lara Jean’s world and figuring out Kitty’s space in that, and now we’re kind of in Kitty’s world, which is really surreal to me, and having Lana come into this space and be here in Seoul and be here at the KISS campus is so, so special and very full circle that little me at 14 definitely cannot believe this.
[CLIP] Lara Jean Song Covey: It’s what I want, and it’s perfect.
Anna Cathcart: When we wrapped the third movie, we were in Seoul filming that part, so the last time we’d been on screen together was in Korea, and now we’re back in the city. The best part of working with Lana again is it feels like no time has passed. I feel like we’ve just completely slipped right back into our dynamic as friends, but also our dynamic as sisters on screen. Very, very grateful that Lana is here and that it means so much.
[CLIP] Lara Jean Song Covey: Wow. [crying] I think if Mom could see you now, she’d be so proud of you. I know I am.
Anna Cathcart: Coming back to our dynamic as sisters is so special because it’s one of my favorite parts of the ‘To All the Boys’ universe is the sisterhood, and I think having Lara Jean here for Kitty, it brings out a certain side of Kitty we don’t always get to see in the series. The way that I’m reacting to her and the way I feel in this scene is so different from Kitty’s dynamic to any other character in the show, just ’cause her childness comes out because she has her big sister, so that’s been fun to play with.
Lana Condor: Last time you saw her, she was going to college. So, it’s been about four years. I think she’s a lot more confident and more mature, but I also think that she still carries her sweet outlook on life. Working with Anna again is the best. Our dynamic is the same. Instantly, we kind of just slipped into our sister-sister relationship, and so seeing her now, and her being an adult is so exciting. She’s killing it. It’s so impressive.
Anna Cathcart: When I first did the movies, I was at such an impressionable age. I was 14. I was in high school, and I learned so much from her, and even now, I’m definitely still learning from her. I think she knows how to advocate for herself. She’s taught me how to advocate for myself.
Lana Condor: It’s so exciting to see Anna finally in her spotlight. There’s no one that deserves it more. She’s incredible, and I actually remember when I first found out they were going to do a spinoff, I was like, okay, what is it about? And they’re like, it’s going to be about Kitty, and I’m like, good, that’s what it should be, because I always felt Kitty was such an amazing character and so funny and so sweet and so integral to the beginning of this world we built.
[CLIP] Lara Jean Song Covey: I love you, Kitty.
[CLIP] Kitty Song Covey: I love you too, LJ.
[CLIP] Lara Jean Song Covey: But please don’t make me fly across the world to fix your life again.
[CLIP] Kitty Song Covey: I’ll try my best.
[Lara Jean laughs]
Anna Cathcart: Good night.
Lana Condor: Bye. Thanks for being here.
