WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Two lottery players won money in Warner Robins this week, according to a press release from the Georgia Lottery.
The release said that a player won $50,000 from a Powerball ticket purchased at the Discount Mart on North Davis Drive. That ticket was purchased on Jan. 21, and matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball.
The next Powerball drawing will be on Jan. 28 and will have an estimated jackpot of $43 million.
Another player won money through the Georgia FIVE drawing on Jan. 25 at the Express Mart on Russell Parkway. They walked away with $10,000, the top prize for the midday drawing.
“As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Quick Win, Powerball, Keno!, Diggi Games, and Georgia FIVE benefit education in the state of Georgia,” the press release said.
