One person was rushed to a local hospital after a stabbing on St. Botolph Street Wednesday morning, police said.

Boston police are investigating after a person was stabbed near Northeastern University Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the reported stabbing at 291 St. Botolph St. at 8:19 a.m., a Boston Police Department spokesperson confirmed. A Northeastern dorm is located at that address, according to the school’s website

The injured person was rushed to a local hospital; their condition was not immediately clear.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the stabbing, though the investigation remains active. 

A Northeastern spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday morning.
