Emerald Cruises’ newest mega yacht, the Emerald Kaia, is ready to welcome guests for its maiden cruise on April 4, 2026.
After being delivered by the Halong Shipyard in Vietnam earlier this year, the 128-passenger ship is set to kick off its inaugural season in Europe.
For its first revenue cruise, the Kaia will sail from Limassol for an 11-night cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean.
In addition to Cyprus, the itinerary features visits to destinations in Greece and Turkey before ending at the port of Piraeus in Athens.
The cruise is highlighted by calls to the islands of Rhodes, Delos and Nisiros, as well as Kusadasi, from where guests will be able to visit the ancient city of Ephesus.
Continuing its inaugural season, the 20,000-ton vessel is set to offer additional sailings to the Greek Islands, in addition to itineraries to the Adriatic.
The ship is also scheduled to transit the Corinth Canal, a unique waterway in Greece that is only available for smaller vessels.
Following a short fall deployment in the Red Sea, the Emerald Kaia is set to reposition to the Indian Ocean in December.
During its first winter season, the vessel offers a series of eight- to 20-night itineraries visiting the Seychelles and East Africa.
The ship is then scheduled to return to the Mediterranean in 2027 before debuting in the Caribbean for the 2027-28 winter.
Slightly larger than its two predecessors, the Kaia became the third ship in Emerald Cruises’ oceangoing fleet.
First announced in April 2024, the new vessel offers 64 suites, as well as new features such as an observation sun deck at the bow and an expanded wellness space.
The vessel will be followed by two sister ships, the Emerald Raiya and the Emerald Xara, which are scheduled to enter service in 2027 and 2028, respectively.
