The last time Saturday Night Live fans were treated to a new Season 51 episode was on March 14. Pop star Harry Styles pulled double duty and delivered in sketches like “MAHAspital,” “Sebastian Maniscalco: New Lawyer” and the St. Patty’s-themed “She’s an Irish Dancer.”
Since then, SNL has been on a brief hiatus. It’s worth noting that Saturday Night Live UK aired new episodes with Hosts Tina Fey and Jamie Dornan in the meantime, and you can stream them both on Peacock now.
Of course, this begs the question: Is tonight the night? Is there a new episode of SNL on April 4?

Black reprises his role as the voice of Bowser in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, out in theaters now.
Former cast member Amy Poehler called Black her “all-time favorite host” during an April 2025 episode of her Good Hang podcast, and we’re sure many fans agree. Black’s talent as an actor, musician in the duo Tenacious D, and larger-than-life comedic presence make him such a versatile star.
Black’s musical counterpart for the evening has an impressive SNL resume as well. Tonight’s episode will mark White’s seventh appearance performing, dating back to his debut with The White Stripes in 2002 (watch that here).
