Jordan Spieth possesses a truly fantastic track record at The Masters.
Spieth won The Masters in 2015, has finished runner-up twice and has two third-place finishes, six top-5s and six top-10s to his name at Augusta National.
On paper, the 32-year-old’s unorthodox playing style and wonderfully imaginative short game is perfectly suited to the challenge that Augusta National poses.
However, Jordan Spieth has been in the golfing doldrums now for quite some time, and is without a win since April 2022.
In spite of that, Spieth is being backed to challenge at The Masters this year.

The Dallas native feels completely comfortable when he’s walking the fairways at Augusta National.
Nobody should rule the 13-time PGA Tour winner out at The Masters next week due to his incredible track record at Augusta.
Jordan Spieth makes Augusta National admission
Spieth will have high hopes of returning to the winners’ circle next week at Augusta National.
Despite his very average recent form, the man from Dallas, Texas, can never be ruled out of contending at The Masters.
The three-time major champion responded when asked why he feels so comfortable at Augusta, when speaking on the Gravy & The Sleeze Podcast.
“Augusta kind of, for whatever reason, like I’m picking a shot and I can fully commit to that,“ Spieth said.
“That feels right.
“So there’s a little bit of that on, like, approaches, and then, you know, just more of the imagination touch around the greens, a lot of the kind of longer pitches, fairway pitches, longer bunker shots that Augusta has.

“You know, I would say that has been more, more of my strength for my career. So I think there’s a bit of that.
“I think everybody’s juices are flowing when they get there.
“Obviously, you’re waiting on the 1st major of the year, and, and it’s the Masters, and so I don’t know if that would be any different from anyone else.
Jordan Spieth’s Masters prediction
Spieth thinks there could be plenty of exciting storylines at Augusta National this year.
“I would think it just kind of fits some of the strengths of my game a little bit better,“ he said.
“Having said that now, there are a number of guys with as good or a better track record lately too.
“So it’s shaping up to be another good one this year. A lot of great players in really good form that have, that have either won or had those calls there.
“So, it should be another exciting one. I know they’re never short on storylines.“
There is a very good chance that The Masters will provide incredible excitement for the patrons in attendance and the fans watching on their TVs, just as Spieth predicted.
And what better storyline could there be than Jordan Spieth winning The Masters once again?
