OXFORD — The Mississippi Supreme Court has denied the NCAA’s petition to appeal Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss’ injunction against the NCAA.
The court announced the decision on March 27 in a document obtained by the Clarion Ledger.
The one-page order was signed by Josiah Dennis Coleman, the presiding justice.
“We find that the petition should be denied,” the order said.
The preliminary injunction from Judge Robert Whitwell that Chambliss got in Lafayette Chancery Court will stand. It positions Chambliss to return to play for Ole Miss in 2026.
