Sheetz has been named to this year’s list of 100 Best Companies to Work For by Fortune Media and Great Place to Work for the 11th consecutive year. The company ranked 32nd on the list—its highest placement ever, it said. The 100 Best Companies to Work For list honors companies that build a “high-trust workplace environment,” measured through Great Place To Work’s proprietary survey platform, confidential feedback from more than one million employees in the U.S., and HR data from participating companies.
“For the ninth straight year, Sheetz stands as the only convenience retailer included on the list. Now in its 29th year, the list recognizes companies that excel in workplace culture and employee satisfaction, underscoring Sheetz’s sustained commitment to its people,” a spokesperson for Sheetz told NACS.
“Being recognized on this list for more than a decade is deeply meaningful and reflects the culture our employees have helped build over time,” said Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz. “As a family-owned and operated business, our people are at the heart of what we do in the communities we serve. This recognition reinforces our commitment to support our employees, invest in their growth and ensure they feel valued every day.”
In other recent Sheetz news, the retailer teamed up with the Pittsburgh Regional Transit for a partnership centered around the 2026 National Football League (NFL) Draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“The agreement allows us to offer free rides on our light rail system and the Monongahela Incline from the start of service on Thursday, April 23 through the end of the night on Saturday, April 25. The partnership is an effort to simplify travel, reduce congestion and improve access to key destinations,” the Pittsburgh Regional Transit posted on LinkedIn.
Select trains will feature Sheetz-branded elements celebrating the city. The company will also host fan activations, including giveaways, mascot appearances and social media engagement opportunities for riders.
