The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for dinosaur-shaped nuggets sold at Walmart stores nationwide.The USDA said 29-oz. plastic bags containing 36 “Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets” could contain unsafe levels of lead. The chicken nuggets were produced on Feb. 10, 2026 and have a best if used by date of Feb. 10, 2027. They also have the lot code of 0416DPO1215 and establishment number P44164 printed on the back of the bag.The USDA said it is not issuing a recall because the products are no longer available for purchase. It is concerned some people may still have it in their freezers. If you have the product involved in the alert, the USDA said to throw it out or return it to where you bought it. The FSIS said the problem was discovered during routine surveillance sampling.
