As March slowly draws to a close, many Floridians are excitedly thinking the same thought: “Is spring break season over?”
For most students, spring break has already passed, but a few counties and schools are still waiting for their chance to relax.
Here’s when spring break ends for Florida students, along with a list of the remaining spring break 2026 dates.

Nationwide, most schools, including colleges and universities, schedule spring break for mid-to-late March, with some spring breaks falling in the first weeks of April, depending on their academic calendars.
Although spring break dates in Florida typically fall in March, most Florida colleges have scheduled their 2026 spring breaks for the week of March 16 and have already returned to classes this week.
How long are most spring breaks?
Spring break, regardless of where you go to school and your age, typically lasts about a week, giving students around 10 days of vacation (including weekends).
